About This Choice Board
This choice board works like a jigsaw. Everyone starts with the same centre piece, then picks one more. At the end, each person brings their piece back to the group.
How It Works
- Step 1Start HereEveryone does the Starting Point Walkthrough.
- Step 2Pick a PieceEach person or group picks one of the four pieces. Two groups can pick the same one.
- Step 3Set a TimeAgree on when to meet again.
- Step 4Come Back TogetherShare what you found, using three questions.
Use the board right here on this page, or print the PDF. Each piece works alone or in a group. Giving people a choice connects to consideration 7.1 in the CAST UDL Guidelines: Optimize choice and autonomy.
