Implementation and Systems Development

I work with leaders and teams in schools and other learning institutions on the systems behind inclusive learning communities. That work runs through UDL, multi-tiered systems of support, co-teaching, and inclusive policy. Alongside that, I design the structures that hold the work in place, including professional goal planning approaches and needs assessments. The maturity model I designed shows an institution where it stands now and what the next stage of change will ask of it.

Both Jérémie Rostan and I received the CAST Anne Meyer UDL Design Award for our work on LUDIA, an AI-powered UDL thought partner that helps educators find and reduce learning barriers. Getting to meet Dr. David Rose meant a great deal to me.

UDL at Every Level

Universal Design for Learning is a wide-reaching framework. Together we apply it to the curriculum design your educators are already doing, so more learners can access and engage with it. I work alongside teams on planning, materials, and assessment, and we look at where barriers are showing up and how to reduce them.

Professional Learning

I design and lead professional learning for educators and leaders, online, in person, or a mix of both. Sessions are built from what your teams are working on. We look at practical skills, the systems that support them, and the beliefs underneath both.

Accessible & Inclusive Technology Integration

I hold CPACC and ISTE certification. We review your resources and communications for accessibility, and map your resources and tools against what your learning community actually needs.

New UDL Workshop: Fostering Learner Agency in the Diploma Programme

The Diploma Programme is demanding by design. Those demands open the door to a crucial question: How do I learn best?

Fostering Learner Agency is a full day at your school, building shared language, approaches, and resources across every subject.
