Accessibility Statement

This site is built for the widest possible audience, whatever your ability or technology.

It aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549.

That means alternative text for images, a clear heading structure, strong colour contrast, full keyboard use, and descriptive link text.

Change How This Site Looks and Sounds

Select Accessibility and Settings in the site menu to:

  • choose a different font, including OpenDyslexic
  • make text larger
  • add space between lines, letters, and words
  • switch to high contrast or dark colours
  • reduce motion
  • have the page read aloud, using your browser's own voices

Your choices stay on your device and apply across the site. These tools are self-hosted, collect no data, and work alongside screen readers and your own settings. This site does not use accessibility overlays.

The banner at the top of each page moves once, for about four seconds, when the page opens. It stays still when you choose Reduce motion here or in your device settings.
